EFCC snaps officials who released a video with former Anambra Governor Obiano

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has responded to a video showing that former Anambra Governor Willy Obiano is in custody. 

Obiano was arrested last Thursday after handing over  Governor Charles Sold to Awka's successor. 

 He was intercepted at  Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) on his way to Houston, Texas. On the weekend of 

, a video of him wearing a T-shirt and matching shorts became a hot topic. A statement by EFCC spokesman Wilson Uwujaren on Monday 

 condemned the release of the video and announced that the perpetrators would face  music. 

 He said the law was "completely in conflict with the Commission's established standard operating procedures." 

 "A careful investigation ordered after the leak was discovered found a misguided officer behind the heinous conduct. 

" He is currently receiving appropriate disciplinary action, "Uwajaren said. Announced. 

Obiano has been accused of diverting quotas from the Municipal Council (LGC) and purchasing real estate in Nigeria and abroad.
